I have been in the Christmas crafting spirit since last month. I was excited to make some Christmas signs to put up around the house. I love love love Christmas so these signs were really fun to make. I (again) used my fab cupboards from Habitat for Humanity RESTORE for the base of the sign. I created stencils using poster board and the cricut (super inexpensive and simple) some KILZ primer, acrylic paint and spray paint and that is it.
For the JOY TO THE WORLD sign I used some embossing ink, powder and a musical stamp. After the primer, and spray paint dried, I stamped the board with the music note stamp dipped in embossing ink, then sprinkled the black embossing powder over the stamped area heated up powder and TADAH!! I really love the end result
**If anyone is interested in having me make a sign for them, let me know approximate size, color scheme and what you would like it to say.
